The lands of Provence
Aix-en-Provence
City of art and fountains, birthplace of Cézanne. The Cours Mirabeau, the daily markets and the elegant 18th-century mansions of the old town.
Avignon
The city of the Popes, ringed by ramparts on the Rhône. The Palais des Papes, the famous Saint-Bénézet bridge and a renowned summer theatre festival.
Gordes
One of the most beautiful hilltop villages of the Luberon, its stone houses cascading down the hillside. Nearby, the Sénanque abbey and its lavender.
Arles
Roman city and Van Gogh's muse, at the gateway to the Camargue. Its arena, its antique theatre and the light that inspired the painter.
Saint-Rémy
Markets, olive groves and the Greco-Roman ruins of Glanum. A refined, authentic base at the foot of the Alpilles.
Les Baux
A village clinging to the rock of the Alpilles, and the spectacular Carrières des Lumières digital art show set in former quarries.
The lavender fields
From mid-June to mid-July, the Valensole plateau and the rows around the Sénanque abbey turn deep purple. We time your stay for the bloom and arrange a private distillery visit, a picnic among the rows and the photo stops at first light, before the crowds.
